Christian woman must veil her head to pray
Beloved, I greet you in the Lord our Redeemer. I would like to make a reminder about the dress of the woman, specifically with regard to the veil of the head. The Bible says that woman must cover her head when she prays or when she prophesies.
Let us read what the Lord says in his Word:
1 Corinthians 11
5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved.
6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
Such is less and less the case today among Christian women. More and more women in the Church prefer to leave their hair uncovered, sometimes even with extravagant braids. Let me tell you that this is disobedience to the Word of God and I can not say the reason that motivates them. If it is to appear nice then they must know that every pious man prefers to see the woman with the veiled hair rather than with braids made with all kind of extensions.
It is important to note that the whole Word of God (laws, ordinances, prophecies, epistles, etc.) is valid for all disciples of Jesus and for all centuries. You have to cover your head with a scarf, handkerchief or some other weave when you are at the Church or even when you pray at home.
May the Lord grant us wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
