God does no harm to people who unite for His Glory
Beloved brothers and sisters, today I am inspired to speak of the glory and love of God for his disciples.
Sometimes it happens that people around the world attribute their misfortune to God, while He is not the cause.
The true God, who created the universe and all its contents, does no harm to those who love him and fear him. Especially not when they unite to glorify his Holy Name.
To go ahead, let us see some verses of the Bible.
6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,
7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”
27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
When we are two or more, the Lord is present. And believe me dear readers, wherever the Lord is present, there can be nothing bad. Especially not the spirit of death, because He conquered death!
Even if someone die accidentally, it will be resurrected for the glory of God. Our God does not play with his glory. Let’s see what happened with Paul, an apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead.
10 Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!”
11 Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left.
12 The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.
by the hand of His servant, God raised up the young man who died while he was listening to his Word. What would people say if the young man went to stay in the cemetery? Certainly it would have an impact on the faith of those who were present. God knows this more than anyone.
Even today, God does miracles within his people who meet for his Glory. It is not uncommon to experience this in the churches of the Lord during the periods of worship or during Crusades.
The living God has given his only and beloved Son as a ransom for sinners like me to be saved.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
So dear readers, if a meeting aiming to praise, to worship or to pray any god, leads to slaughter or other kinds of misfortunes, you must understande that the Lord was not with them. The god they worship is not the true God, creator of the universe, who gives breath to all living being.
11 For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed? I will not yield my glory to another.
8 “I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.
It can not be clrearer! The God who created heaven and earth does not playing with his Holy Name and His glory. For his glory, God does miracles and wonders.
God punishes sin as we see, He does not tolerate idolatry, ie making other god but Him. And believe me, these gods will do nothing for their worshipers in front of the wrath of the LORD of hosts.
10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior.
12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God.
13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?”
As I like to do, I repeat my exhortation to prayer. Pray the living God who will certainly help you, ask him to guide you on the right way. He expects that from you. I also invite you to read the Bible, asking God to open your minds and give you intelligence to understand His Word.
22 “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
Look for the true God, do not remain clinging to doctrines that have not demonstrated any real good and do not promise anything certain as hope.
If you who is reading this message, you do not believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, put yourself quickly in supplication near God, pray, cry if you feel the need. Tell you love him, you seek him, you do not want to perish but you want to be saved.
Repent! so that he have compassion on you and blots out your sins and your past iniquities.
God wants everyone to be saved, but He makes no respecter of persons and does not favor anyone. He is fair and equitable.
He neither ask to kill people or die for him by hurting others. Rather, God asks us to do good to those who harm us.
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven.
1 Timothy 2
3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior,
4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
Servant of Jesus Christ.
