People, look for the true God and you will find

Beloved, I will never get tired of reminding the glorious call of our God to his people.

It is bitter to see that there are still many people who do not repent to come to God who gives them breath.

People I‘ve met evoke various reasons to justify their unbelief. Some say that they rely on science, others say they are atheists, others say they have no proof of the existence of God, in short any kind of answers. Some clearly say that they are Satanists, so they believe in the Devil, but not in God. What a pity!

Let’s see some verses.

Psalm 9
5 How great are your works, Lord, how profound your thoughts!
6 Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,

Psalm 53
1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

Let’s see also these verses.

Matthew 7
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

This verse contains an expression that is familiar to many people, though not all of them know that it is biblical.

Let’s continue with these verses:

Isaiah 45
22 “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
23 By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.

Jeremiah 29
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Isaiah 55
6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Zephaniah 2
3 Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger.

1 Chronicles 28
9 “And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

Hosea 10
12 Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.

Matthew 11
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Calls to coming to the living God, the One God who exists are repeated in several places of the Bible.

But there are still many not repented in the world. For some the situation seems to be a choice. But I do not think anyone can make the choice to perish consciously. There is definitely something wrong. Either one is really misinformed , or one is possessed by spirits contrary to God.

My appeal of the day, which is repetitive, is to invite people who are not yet come to Jesus in Biblical way to get in search of their God. God is invisible, but He is not hidden. His works, proof of its existence are obvious and ther is no excuse to deny them.

Despite his infinite power, God does not force anyone, He leaves us the choice to come to Him or not.

Deuteronomy 30
15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction.
19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

There is no easier thing to do than seeking God. We just need to wanting to. Go aside and pray God asking him to appear, do it sincerely from all your heart, soul and spirit. And God who is in the secret place and sees everything, will manifest in your favor.

Enter your room and talk to God. Tell Him you want to believe in Him, you need Him. Ask Him to manifest if He really exists. Talk to him with your own words.

Reading the word of God, Bible is also a good way to seek Him and to get touched by him.

I invite you to take a few time to read the Bibleeven a small verse a day to start. By the time, the Spirit of God will helpe you.

It is important to know how to listen to the answer of God . He might not respond as we expects. It could be a dream, He may send someone to talk to us, it may be  Bible verses, … etc.

I’ll end up with a little story. The other day I met a young man to tell him about Jesus. He confessed that I was the second person of the day talking to him about God and that he was stubborn. He said he had to leave the place where I found him, but something prevented him to go away, until I come to him. This coincidence urged him to listen and consider the word.

One day, a person told me that he has the feeling that I am following him, because  we met in several places of the city. I go from place to place as the Spirit leads me. I believe he will meditate on it.

May the Lord bless you in the name of Jesus Christ our unique Saviour. Amen!
