Beloved, I often avoid naming doctrines in my articles, but in regard today’s message I have no choice but to call things by their name.
Today I will give my testimony about the branhamist doctrine.
The Lord let me know that He is not conerned, which means that people who believe that they worship Jesus Christ through this belief are wrong and it’s time for them to change way.
Some months ago, I received at my home a person who is of that belief. He started to tell me about branham and one moment I was interested and I started being more interredted by what he was saying. Suddenly, the Lord made me sign to say NO. It is the same sign that He gives me any time I’m about to do something that He does not want me to do. At the same time, my heart was beating. So He told me simply that what I am listening to is not good.
Dear brothers and sisters, many of you are engaged in doctrine this knowingly or unknowingly that Jesus is not with you. Through this message the Lord put in my heart days ago and that He reminds me every moment, I want to enlighten those who seek salvation which exists only in Jesus.
Branhamists have different interpretations of several biblical passages. I’ll randomly list some:
1. They consider Branham as Elijah who is supposed to come according to Malachi 4: 5.
2. They believe that Cain was born from adultery between Eve and the serpent (Satan).
3. They do not believe in the existence of a Father, a Son and a Holy Spirit.
Beloved, if you took the few time to understand the Bible, the Word of God, you will notice that our Brahmanists friends are in confusion.
Let us read some verses, even if I find that it is not necessary to focus on verses, because the Lord Himself gave me his opinion:
5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes.
6 He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
1 Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.”
2 Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil.
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever
17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” “The son of David,” they replied.
43 He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says,
44 “‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”’
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
26 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.
27 No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.
28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”
Dear brothers and sisters, I think there is no needs to comment on these verses, because they are clear.
13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John.
14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come.
One can easily understand that the gentleman Brahnam did not fulfill what is said in Malachi 4.6.
We see that Jesus pronounced many times the word Father through the Bible.
Let’s see these verse:
12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.”
13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.
John the Baptist is the Elijah who was to come, the Lord has said it more than once. So dear Brahnamistes repent before it’s late for you.
He also spoke clearly about the Holy Spirit which is among us since that day of Pentecost. All we need is to believe, to follow the water baptism by immersion and meet the requirements to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Verse Genesis 4.1 says that Adam knew Eve, it is very clear.
Beloved, it is important to be careful when reading the Bible. It is divine and sacred and we need to understand in Spirit. For this, we must pray before reading it every time. No person is allowed to bring or remove some things from the Bible content.
Transforming the meaning of the verses of the Bible is severely punished by God as the Lord Himself said here:
31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Jesus and even his first Apostles, warned against false prophets and other false servants of God.
Finally, I pray our Heavenly God to grant each of us a spirit of discernment in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
Servant of Jesus Christ.
